Newfriars College is a Specialist FE College with 200+ learners aged between 16 and 25 who have a range of Special Educational Needs. At Newfriars, we are creating a vision that places our learners and their families at the heart of everything we do.
We are seeking dedicated and responsible Coach Guides to support students requiring additional assistance on their journey to and from college and throughout the college day.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the welfare and safety of students during transit.
• Assist students on and off the bus, ensuring secure seating using appropriate restraints.
• Safeguard medications while traveling.
• Provide supervision and respond to any incidents or behavioural challenges.
• Escort wheelchair-bound pupils if required.
• Communicate important updates between parents/carers and the college.
• Follow correct procedures in case of vehicle breakdown.
