We want to appoint flexible minibus drivers to join our Team. As a member of our Transport Team, you will work closely with other support staff, teaching assistants and teachers to drive our minibuses transporting young people to college and home and support young people on trips and visits into the community.
Driving hours required:
• Monday to Friday 7am-9am (College pick-up)
• Monday to Friday 14:45-17:00 (College drop-off)
• Daily hours between 9am and 2.30pm (College community trips)
Casual contract to cover hours on request, may be requested at short notice, flexibility is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the welfare and safety of students during transit.
• Assist students on and off the bus, ensuring secure seating using appropriate restraints.
• Escort wheelchair-bound pupils if required.
• Follow correct procedures in case of vehicle breakdown.
